BRIEF:

 

“A State of Flux” questions what it means to be an American in today’s political climate, how colonization has affected my own heritage, and what I can do as a global citizen in this planetary emergency. It represents the uncertainty that many of us feel in regards to the future of our nation and our world. It begins to explore class and race relations as well as sustainable practices and methodologies.

This collection is an amalgamation of my obsessions, interests, and beliefs. It serves as a catalyst for my fashion mark as a whole and encompasses my design philosophies and principles. I drew great inspiration from today’s political and social climate and what it says about who we are as participants/actors in everyday life.
